Minimum wage hike would cost hundreds of thousands up-to 1 million jobs, CBO eport says. I don’t buy it though. First off, the CBO sucks at forecasting anything and, IMHO, companies may reduce some jobs, but will likely just increase prices… hey, everyone is making more per check now, right? Kansas is trying to pass an anti-gay marriage, among other things, bill. My God GOP, we are getting slaughtered over social issues, just freaking stop it. Hell, the courst will knock these laws down anyhow. Some people are gay and some of those gay people want to marry, get over it. Yes, I wish they woud stop throwing their gayness(word?) down everyone’s throat’s, no pun intended, but laws to discriminate, come on. GOP moves to linit presidential power, finally, but it would have looked better if they did that under Bush’s watch when everyone was creaming he was too powerful. It also helped the GOP lose Congress 2004 and 2006. Look, we have 3 branches of government, I like that and you should too, and the presidency was never supposed to be stronger than other branches. In fact, the president is littlemore than the final person to sign bills into laws and is, more or less, a figure head and point person to negotiate treaties and such. Rachel Maddow actually thinks the movie Gasland was real, even though flaming water was debunked as a natural occurance that happens everywhere. But, hey, let’s not let facts get in the way I mean its not like MSNBC is a news station or anything, right? Oh, she also has a guest on who has an agenda to end fracking to say state agencies are lying about pollution… so, all these state reports and even the EPA saying fracking is generally safe if done by the book means nothing I guess. Liberals LOVE the CBO when the CBO scored the ACA, Obamacare, well, but when it goes against their pet projects, well, the data is mixed or your reading it wrong. Really?? Slate says outgoing members of congress can help win the fight on cliate change. They are featuring Henry Waxman a 40 freaking year, that’s 20 elections people, vetranof congress for the article.Reality is that these members leaving are going to d what they all do, sure they will push for climate stuff, but as a lobbyist making millions a year. Waxman, who I dislike, a lot, as a 40yr vetran will command huge dollars as a lobbyist because he knows where the bodies are… he and Nacy put them there! Term limits people and we should shun Politico, Slate and the rest of these reporters who embrace this corrupt system we have and only live to pat their political friends backs. When members of congress “retire” they get to keep their PAC cash left over, no rules, that was meant for their reelection, nice, huh? Other non-PAC cash can be used for a lot of things, but when they become lobbyiest, they all do, they give that cash to their old friends for their “support”. That’s what happens when you let the crooks write their own laws to govern themselves. This guy, Rob Andrews (D-NJ), and one of many democrats running away, gets to pocket like $120,000 and regift or bribe his old friends with the rest. Wait a minute, Obama says there is zero corruption or problems with the IRS, his good friend and campaign cash bundler he asked to look into the agency told him so!
